To fix this properly will require all entries in the meta index for apropos information that are pointer pages to be removed. In the html edition the pointer pages are implemented as hard links to the page they point to rather than being a separate pointer page. I will evaluate whether that can be done easily and mechanically. |

The index is controlled by a master file with patterns of the form word.idx:@f /functions/vswprintf.html word.idx:@t vswprintf - wide-character formatted output of a stdarg argument list word.idx:=vswprintf - wide-character formatted output of a stdarg argument list We could remove the duplicates from the file, although whether this is a big enough issue to warrant a change right now is debateable. We will review this for a future generation of the html or maintenance work when time permits. |
