Looks like a bug in groff or the mm macros (notes are formatted using .VL). Hopefully adding an explicit .P before the note will fix it. Since this is a purely editorial formatting issue I see no problem fixing it in Issue 8 despite the draft 4 narrowing-down rules. (In case any groff developers read this, I should note that we are using an old version, so the bug may well already have been fixed.) |
