| Description | On the "View Issues" page, the "Print Reports" link above the bug list loads a page which has four links for different ways of printing reports. Two of them are downloads of files in proprietary formats. I don't think it is appropriate for a defect reporting tool for an open standard to be using these proprietary formats, and I suggest those two links should be removed. The other two links load a page in the browser. The first of these is in a tabular format that doesn't seem particularly useful, as it doesn't wrap text and so needs a lot of horizontal scrolling to view, and it just gets truncated if printed. The last link does produce something useful which could be printed. I suggest keeping just this link, but changing the button from its current form (a well-known graphical blue 'e' icon) to a suitable text button. | ||||

Removed first three options, Now only shows a link to "Formatted Long View". It still contains the non-used fields such as "OS", which I will be fixing. Let me know what you think in a note in this bug. |

Thanks for making the change. Looks good apart from one minor thing: I'm not sure that "Formatted Long View" fits well with the link name ("Print Reports") that takes you to that page. Maybe it would be best to change both, e.g. change "Print Reports" to something like "Printable Views" and have the second button say "Generate". |
