Summary0001885: Definition of "name" omits its use as a verb
DescriptionThe XBD chapter 3 definition of "name" only covers its use as a noun. It is also frequently used as a verb related to pathname resolution, and this use ought to be added (as a separate definition, with a "domain" for each definition, as per ISO rules).
Desired ActionOn page 63 line 1928 section 3.216, change:
3.216 Name
In the shell command language, a word consisting solely of underscores, digits, and alphabetics from the portable character set. The first character of a name is not a digit.

Note: The Portable Character Set is defined in detail in [xref to 6.1].
