| Description | While working on Bug ID 0000054 (which is a dup of Bug ID 0000044), I was surprised to find that the only way to note which bug it duplicated was to add a Note. Especially since Notes are several dozen lines below the header information, I think it would help to have a "Duplicate Of" field that can be filled in only when a bug's Resolution field is being changed to (or already has) the value "Duplicate". For extra points, it would be nice if clicking on this field would redirect you to the duplicate when Mantis is not in "Update mode". | ||||

There is such a mechanism (and I corrected #54 using it). At the bottom of the bug is a field called "Relationships" where one of the pull-downs is "Duplicate of". |
